The hotel is conveniently located near the subway, making it easy to explore the city. Towels are provided, and the bed was made up when I arrived, which was a nice touch. I also had the room to myself, with a TV included. The toiletries in the bathroom had a pleasant scent, and the hotel was super clean. The check-in and check-out process was easy and relaxed, without any long lists of rules.
The smell of damp/drains in the bathroom, which was a bit off-putting. the hotel could have been more affordable, and I would have appreciated better opportunities for cooking my own meals.

Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Convenient location near subway station and lively area.- Bunk beds with extra storage/sitting space were a nice touch
Noise from the bar downstairs if trying to sleep before 2am. Rooms were a bit tiny, but considering the price and location, it was still a good deal.

During my recent stay at Sappolodge, I was impressed by the helpfulness and kindness of the staff. The lady at reception went above and beyond to carry my luggage up the stairs to my room. The room itself was immaculately clean and had all the necessary amenities. I particularly enjoyed the comforter, which kept me warm throughout the night. The location of the lodge was excellent, just a short walk from the subway station and close to popular areas like Odori and Susukino. I also appreciated the chilled vibe and the unique tree house atmosphere of the hostel. The on-site restaurant and bar were fantastic, with great music and delicious food. I highly recommend Sappolodge for its great hosts, excellent location, and warm and comfortable lodging.
The only slight downsides were the flight of stairs leading to the room, which might be challenging for less mobile travelers, and the slight tightness of the room for two people. However, these were minor inconveniences that did not greatly affect my overall enjoyment of the stay.

had an amazing time at a hostel in susukino with friendly staff, new and clean rooms, and a comfortable bed. Good price too!
Lacked the mountain lodge style we expected.

The value for money at this cozy mountain lodge was amazing. The room was spotless and had everything I needed, plus the staff treated me like family.
Breakfast choices could be better.
